Who we are:
The 56th Services Squadron Marketing office provides support to all Morale, Welfare, and Recreation programs, activities and events at Luke AFB. The staff produces a variety of products for each activity to create awareness and to inform community members on Services programs, activities and events. The marketing office is also responsible for obtaining and receiving sponsorship, donations and in-kind contributions to enhance quality of life programs and events.
What we do:
- Provide marketing, advertising and sponsorship support to 23 Services activities
- Produce monthly magazine, the Special Events Calendar and the At Ease, a monthly supplement to the Thunderbolt newspaper
- Maintain base marquee
- Liaison with Retiree Activity Office to produce the Annual Retiree Appreciation Day in October and with Peoria Chamber of Commerce, Military Affairs Committee to produce the Annual Base Picnic in November
- Sell advertising for the Special Events Calendar monthly magazine
- Conduct briefings to base personnel on Services activities and events (including: Newcomers; FTAC and Retiree Activity Office)
- Distributes weekly email to Luke recipients on upcoming Services events and activities
- Design and maintain Services intranet and dot-com webpage
- Maintain Luke AFB Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) website
- Distribute and compile all Services comment cards
- Conduct marketing research via focus groups, opinion meter, online, email and hard copy surveys

Mon – Thurs: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
